Sacrificing riflemen/whole squads of riflemen must be part of that guy's cult ^^
His sneaky tactic of hiding an AT gun under a sherman to take out my KT redeems him though.
Too bad he committed a cardinal sin... going for the base rush when he was behind on VP'S and the end of a game he had just won. If he had parked his shermans and M8 on just two victory points that game was over. Well played though.

It's a pretty common sin though. One of the most common mistakes I see watching replays is when the VPs go below 45-ish people start losing their goddamn minds.
If you've been pushed off of a VP which stopped the countdown when your opponent is nearly done you should not start mass frontal assaults into the teeth of his defensive line. That kind of crap you pull when you're the one low on VPs. Concentrate your forces, attack on the flanks, do NOT go for the VP until you've cleared the field.
Way too many times I've seen players with an army size advantage and a 300 point VP advantage go nuts and lose it all after charging into the teeth of a dug in force (20 times) in the center of semois for instance.
It happened in my other game I posted as well, Imortalwhatever split his forces in half and kept sending men after 2 VPs at the same time, which was stupid. He could have easily concentrated his forces on a single side and pushed me off of a VP, since I had to cover both of them and split my army in half. Basically, he should have done what he would have done had he not gotten tunnel vision and forgotten everything but the VP count.
Sooo, I take it they nerfed g-wagon armor penetration in the recent past? Cause mine weren't worth crap.
