QUOTE(Seb)
I played it before, but not at the highest level. Why would I care? It's a game and I wanted to play it like that, I knew it could work and then everyone would be impressed, I knew it could fail and then I just had to win the other games.

Even before it started, I guessed for myself every army he'd take at every round, and it was a 100%. So I knew, in all of the 5 games, this one I didn't even plan to need the win.

I actually expected to win game 2, and just end it on a 3-1, but it turned out my first game as WM was at the opposite of what I'm able and should have done. And I ended up having to play brit, which was even more risky than this US strat if you ask me, because I didn't play 1v1 as brit vs pe since months, and certainly not vs any top pe player at all on this patch.

Thanks for these insights. (they were hard to find amidst the bullshit in this thread)

Thread cleaned. Issued warnings to those who deserved one.

Please keep your drama out of the replay section.

Carry on gents.

Thanks for clarification and revealing grounds laying behind your decisions. It's interesting to know.

I'm obviously the last one to judge you, it's your game, your risk, your fun and money. I had some assumptions, but they turned out a bit different from facts. I would probably make other decisions regarding choice of the strat, but thats completely different story.

Sadly this strat didn't pay out, but then again - without this loss we wouldn't watch superb wehr play in game 4 with you fighting for survival and unusual OF-churchill match in game 5.

"I didn't even plan to need the win"
That's just a bunch of pure lies.

coh is a game which, unlike starcraft or, well, any other strategy game, offers a very very wide variety of tactics and strats.
this is the single best attitude towards this game one can have, both for his own entertainment and for the entertainment of people watching his replays.
this is why i like watching bodhidharmas replays and i love watching sebs replays

gj dude, well played.

After the thousands of replay's iv'e watched i also fail to see this working at the level you guys play. Expecting to win is a fail mentality in my book so no argument there. However you are one of the few that still play for fun and not for the win. Len is also a good example of fun play. Game doesn't really deserve a wub but i'll wub it for the effort.
