The Stuart will always give a tell tail sign before it fires a canister shot so you can easily retreat your squad with minimal loses. A StuH not only fires Free shots that wipe out most of a squad if not all but it can also kill AT guns, buildings and it even does reasonably damage vs tanks. The cool down on canister shot is huge but the StuH just keeps on firing those free shots. How anyone can cry canister shot abuse and defend the StuH is beyond me!

Canister shot sometimes kills retreating units too. And after canister shot Stuarts main gun fires instantly, usually killing 1 more guy, if squad wasnt wiped. Its a stupid no micro/no thinking ability, regardless of how it compares to Stuh.
