Well, it had some good moments. Like a stug crushing a tommie blob.
And nice to see a game without strafes and arty spam.
But god awful micro by both sides. Just blob wars, with very little tactical concern. Both sides threw away so many units, cover was rarely used, and everything was simply rushed head on.
Why would you go armor company, with no US armor at all on the field throughout the game? I saw 1 calliope late game that was about it.
I don't quite understand how you could lose that one though. Think the Brit player was way too passive, once he got the town. You could've easily finished of the axis many times. Where they basically had nothing left on the field. (of course you couldn't have known that. But scouting a bit never hurts )
There was a lot of action though. But not really good action - definitely not ROTW material. (not that I'm to judge, but don't get your hopes up )
