It says all about your IQ, when u compare x5 vet3 sniper to 2 snipers.

Let me guess, you count Georgian population as 1 billion because you sum up all people who have ever lived in your country? Pretty sure in particular game there were 2 snipers max, with very few kills. And not 2 sniper start. Understand what I'm getting at?
I've never felt so robbed of a win. Typical Wehr BS as usual...

I don't know what else the US player could of done.
QUOTE(Volkl @ Jun 14 2022, 02:19 AM)
A few barrages might well have thinned out the volks, paks, and snipers. Perhaps even damaged some of the pumas enough to allow rifles to finish them off. Seems like that would have been a better approach than brute force attack with an unsupported Pershing. There were enough VP tickets remaining. Calliopes beat nebels every day of the week.

Here what I think about all of that: 2) Even if you choose Armor - next mistake Pershing...Instead of Persh you needed Helcets and snipers + Cali.
I went armor cause I expected typical Stug train spam from Wehr. A well microed Pershing shuts this down pretty hard.
I think going callies first would have been better, but I don't see how going infantry doc for arty would have been helpful since I would kill 1 unit, only for the it to be instantly replaced by MP blitz. I also need to consider the possibility of a Tiger showing up.
Edit:
There were a lot of key moments that game that completely cucked my game. 1st one (Flamer in the house was told to focus the mg team along the wall, but the flames focused the volks for some reason) I lost a rifle because of this.
2nd I lose my m8 cause your Puma hits an M8 mine and gets no engine dmg crit. I even chase you down and miss my shot. Then I basically lose my m8 while take your up gunned Puma down. That Puma should have 100% died.
3rd: That 1 Puma tanking 3 stickies was just dumb. It cost me 2 Rifles despite the last sticky going off when you had 1 HP on it. I also had to bring in my Hellcat to finish it off and it nearly dies after (I'm forced to spend 150 ammo to save it).
4th: The Pershing constantly missing the retreating snipers near the end.
Rifles are irrelevant when you have Vet 3 Pumas. The amount of BS RNG from the AT guns missing, and the stickies not killing that 1 Puma down to 1HP is just another example of dumb loses. Vet 3 Pumas are basically vet 3 offensive and vet 3 defensive AC's. They take zero damage from small arms which leaves you with AT guns. AT guns on Semois are pretty much trash since there's shot blockers everywhere. Since Axis get stock arty, this is where the game IMO transitions over to an axis advantage since they actually have good mobile AT that doesn't crumble to cheap arty.
Getting snipers also isn't viable. There's Nebels and the possibility of cloaked Storms I need to worry about. But the biggest counter are the Vet 3 Pumas and you had like 3-5 at one point. I can guarantee you if I had 1-2 snipers you would have simply dropped Nebels near them in order to knock out any mines and then just dive them with the vet 3 Pumas since AT guns miss so often and they require 3-4 At shots to knock out. It gets to a point that whatever loses you take, you can simply recover them instantly and you just snowball since the US player can't trade anymore.
BTW: Stag spam isn't OP. At least you can actually hit them with AT weapons and they require some sort of muni sink. Pumas simply shut down any Infantry play since 1 burst murders half your squad. Allies don't have 1 single unit in their roster that does nearly this level of damage. AC's from PE can do the same, but they require kills and you either get a super squishy glass canon or a slightly tankier inf destroyer (the Pumas basically gets both at vet 3).
Its a gg, but I was extremely disappointed that something so braindead could actually work.

This^
Vet 3 upgunned Puma is armoured sniper and AT both at same time.
I my opinion this was pretty well played from stilet, I can agree on some arguments that Stilet plays very defensive often, but I see him doing that more with USA than with Wehr, I think this was pretty wel played vs Armor doctrine.
At spam + puma spam, perfect combo vs the units dumais had.
