We got confirmation from Relic themselves that such connection never existed. Duke Jason did us the favour when the question was brought up on Discord in their channel. Abadas was a banned cheater prior to 2009 as well his name is on the list of banned players on GR if you go back to the forums from 2009.

As the first cheat conviction was against the player named GraveDigger in the reported replay I think that we can safely say that he is one and the same person.
Protocol states that he should be given the opportunity to explain his actions before taking the matter further to conclusion.

Conclusion....? Its 2023 and he's been cheating for decades.... What is the conclusion?
Everytime I sent a report to Relic prior to COH3 release I was getting an immediate response either asking me to clarify the situation or if the evidence was enough and the action was taken (They were not sharing what action exactly but it was clear it was a human response). Right now almost 3 days has passed since I sent them this report and not even an automated response. I guess that 121 lay off killed included the guy who was dealing with COH1 cheaters...
