This time i played my clanmate Sepha.
As i know his favoured strat is riflespam i went for early mg42s and then volks with MP40s. This game was a real back and forth game. He started very agressive and caught me totally off balance. However i managed to push him back only to be pushed back again. And so the game continues. In the end his skills where to much for me and i lost. But this was definitely the funniest game ive played so far.
I think if i had teched to ACs faster and gotten Flaks i might have won. Also i was always short of mun in this game so i couldnt make proper use of my commander abilitys. A few more propaganda drops would have helped me alot.

As you´ll see in this game stugs are abit OP. I pushed back his Calliopes and even destroyed a Pershing with them. For the cost Stugs are very effective and can pwn most allied tanks.
And Sephas strat, going riflespam with mortars and later Calliope is very effective imo. Second time i play against him when hes using this strat and its a real pain in the ass.

Anyway enjoy this replay cause it was a blast playing it smile.gif

Really nice, most fun game i've had since playing CoH. I'll add that massing 5+ riflemen is a must if you don't want to lose to axis early acps/stugs, stickies are a necessity since AT guns and m8's will simply be outgunned, same goes for shermans. I agree stugs and APC's need a cost increase, especially stugs.

Good game you two! Games like this is exactly what we need happy.gif

For fujix, you should put observation posts on high munitions point if you're using Propaganda. 100 per click isn't exactly cheap you know..

And for Sepha, make some extra engineers for christ sakes. Rifleman aren't going to repair those Tanks.

Axis trees mostly revolve around munitions, it doesn't help that Axis need weapon upgrades to be effective- which also cost munitions. Thats all going to change soon wink.gif

So they will make some upgrades on axis not require munitions or not as much?

And for the replay, very nice, I enjoyed it. Nice Pershing action.

Version : 1.18

Game Summary
Very close thru ought the game, they both were pushing for territory using cover and the buildings well and retreating perfectly not loosing more than a few battalions in the entire game, defenatly the best replay I’ve seen so far. Sepha started with the basic riflemen spam with a mortar supporting them while Fujix went with Volks and MG spam, Fujix took early MC with clever MG positioning slowing Sephas harassing. Sepha took over the middle with a mix of riflemen with mortar support, with the mortar bombing most of the MG's Sepha retook the center and captured back allot of territory. Wasn’t long after that Fujix came back and took over the center again taking back the whole bottom right side, but as he was bringing out his first StugIV a calliope came and gave Fujix a real hard time with its spec taking out a lot of infantry and a tank. The game was pretty much over once Sepha started to bring out the pershing effectively holding the middle for the rest of the game smile.gif .

Sepha

Allies

BO = Barracks > Supports Center
PT = Armor > Fast Unit Production > Calliope Reinforcements > Pershing Reinforcements

Strat = Riflemen > Jeep > Mortar > Calliope > Pershing

Pros:
thumb.gif + Microed jeep to flank the MG
thumb.gif + Nice use of mortars
thumb.gif + Retreated well
thumb.gif + Retook the middle twice
thumb.gif + Early calliope
thumb.gif + Nice flank manouver with the stickies
thumb.gif + Nice use of the calliope

Cons:
cry.gif - Idle units
cry.gif - Should have repaired your armor

Player Summary
You did well the entire game even when he pushed you back you managed to pull back even stronger with your riflemen spam and mortar, early game it was very close since you pushed him back taking back most of the territory before he retaliated with a bunch of volks and AC's. You positioned your riflemen well like when his stugs attacked you flanked them from the side and stickied them destroying his Stugs smile.gif it was pretty much over once the pershings started to come out while he managed to destroy one another was already on its way.

Fujix

[attachmentid=135989]

Axis

BO = Wehrmacht Quarters > Sturm Factory > Panzer of Command
PT = Not sure

Strat = MG > Volksgrenediers > StugIV > PanzerVI

Pros:
thumb.gif + Used MG's well thru ought the game
thumb.gif + Flanked the mortar
thumb.gif + Defended center well
thumb.gif + Early armor
thumb.gif + Flanked pershing

Cons:
cry.gif - Allowed 1 mortar to capture 2 posts near your base

Player Summary
You did well the entire game tbh, you used MG's exceptionally well and putting it in useful places where it could do the most damage. you flanked some of his units (mortar/pershing) and did a good job at holding him off in some areas. Though i reckon you could have harassed the top VP more and make him spread his units out a bit more, then attack the canter.
