Airborne vs LuftwaffeOverviewThis was a decent 1v1. The American showed one hell of a field presence with his aggressive capping against the Panzer Elite. The Axis hold out well in the early game, but eventually just cant keep up with the American capping speed and field presence.
Points of Improvement- Axis
- Waited just a little too long for that 1st ATHT. It would have prevented that retreat and you'd capped more faster. If you don't see BARs by the time you have 70-80 fuel, queue that ATHT. TYpically, when you stall US by decpapping their fuel a couple times like you did, BAR can be a bad option since PE
is going to have some vehicle coming soon at that point. - You were playing very risky with your P4s and lost them, through that 2nd one did some amazing carnage in the base. It was the counter for everything on the field at that time except that AT. You saw the AT, so go somewhere else. Send another squad to their fuel supporting the tank.
- While capping, units are more vulnerable. Always move into cover if its there and then cap a point. It will provide extra protection for the guys, and you just got really unlucky with that strafe. Like rolling that 1 with your Vorpol Sword, it happened from time to time.
- You have to consider getting the Defensive Op upgrade for healing or going T1-T4. Then you got your ATHT to immobilize, AT nades and large squads as well as the SC to OP the fuel so you can really rush that P4. An early SC is great vs Engys and can be effective vs Riflemen as a mini tank. They cap, take shots, support the PGs, and PGs can repair. When too many riflemen on the field, you OP your fuel with it, it served its purpose.
