I didnt face as much trouble as playing a better brit player, (not saying this one is bad but I think he got suprised with the piospam) but this tactic really works in 90% cases if you pull it out correctly
You tried this strat against me which didn't go as planned for you (I'll post for anyone that's interested). Relic tried to fix the Vet Flame Pio Spam issue a long time ago but failed. Clearly it's an exploit because it's not in the spirit of the game for a blob of Pios to win games, yet people still do it. I don't have an issue with it but all the Stag whiners that start with Pio Spam should keep their mouths shut.
In my opinion, Relic nerfed pure piospam pretty well. It's not very effective anymore to just spam them, flame them, and vet them. Most players go pio's > t2 > grens, but I'm guessing that's not what you guys mean with piospam? I didn't watch the replay
Anyways, brits vs wehr is a lame matchup either way, regardless of balance.
