I think you deserved that match, mate. It was kinda RNG win about that last vp engagement.

Hmmm this was an interesting game overall.

Comment on Allies's play:

Overall it was a pretty good game but AL could've taken the win very easily.

Well the most obvious one is at the end when the sherman engages on the top VP.

What I noticed is that at first the M4 was fire focusing on the ATHT and landed 2/3 shots before Demir notices and moves it back and then the sherman moved onto shooting the PG squad.

That PG squad ended up capping the VP with 1 man left alive.. If the sherman had used its first 2/3 shots focused on the PG squad instead then they would've won that game.

Also what bothered me a bit during the game is that even though the battle was very focused into middle , USA made very little attempt to harass the top points. Early mid-game and mid-game he tried a bit but I think he got scared off of losing a squad to the AC and mp44 who always kept getting into its retreat path.... (I hate when PE do that smh)

but around 30min mark PE had neither an AC nor a "free" squad that would come to stop AL's harassment.

I noticed (through too many hours into COH.....sadly......pls i need help stopping to play this game...... ) that late mid-game entering late game AX's play tends to get stronger and thats when they shift from being defensive-ish to be offensive-ish and so when I notice that "hmm they are doing a lot of fighting and assault over here" it also automatically means "they have much less unit defending(-ish) the map" and so back to de-capping stuff biggrin.gif.

A flaw I noted is that US didn't go tank depooooot! at the 20min mark US had 165 fuel floating and a good 500ish MP. With that many ressources tank depot and maybe an OP on the fuel would have been fine . With brit having soo much arty (25p + 2priest ) , good AT ( stolen PAKs, ATgs, a 17p ) and solid infantry play ( free tommy squads , piat and LT vet3 )

With all that brit had M10s trains + snipers + cali from US and the game is ggwp.
For the simple reason that 1-wehr didn't have any pak 2-and even if he tried to make some they would've been turned to dust by brit..
If Argentino would've made m10s they probably would've won because the PantherBattlGrp got away from dying ( -10% HP on BOTH ) like 3/4 times. A few m10s ( +note with armor doc ) would have done real damage.

At around the 10min mark an M8 tried to do a push followed by a stuart.. but that failed because ATHT+ pak got the m8 dead first leaving the stuart less efficient facing an ATHT and a pak alone.. They should've synched their vehicle push together so that even if one had died on the field the other would still be up there killing stuff.

Also note at 13min when brit tried to arty wehr's massive base retreat he failed because the shots were inaccurate... but If they would've hit on target that would've been very painful for wehr. Nothing to say about that except that wehr got lucky.

This is less important but I cried when demir used his AC to chase down the snipers ( @ 14min) and actually managed to get one. That "entrance" is the mooost ooooooooooobvious mine placing spot EVER. I get that Argentino thought "since brit got his bofos right there I shouldn't worry" but we're never too safe 25muni to save 340MP is always a nice deal.

Comment on Axis's play:

Meeeeeeh... Axis managed to squeeze somehow a win out of this game.

Compared to their opponent their teamwork/synergy was weak/low. While PE spend most of his time on the upper map , wehr spend his on the very bottom corner ( near his base entrance ).

Such a distance makes it impossible to play together. Wehr lost alot of engagements because he was double teamed.. But it isn't anybody's fault but his own.

The reason I said that is because he choose an awful place to set himself up.

Instead of going to the +10muni above the VP and making a defensive line facing down, wehr set himself up on the strategic point next to the +10muni and tried to make a defensive line facing west. Which turned out to be a terrible idea because that position the he choose can be easily attacked from many different angles.

A way around that would've been to move up the "flanking fights" from near the destroyed houses at wehr's base entrance (on the +5 fuel) to the really big house on the strategic point. Doing that would've "flatten" wehr's defensive line and he would've been able to spare much better.

Also wehr's main force were grenadiers squad.... why not make a medic station INSIDE your base?
1- Brit would've had a hard time finding it to arty it.
2- Considering most of the fighting was done the the strategic point near wehr's base casualties would've been picked up without problems.

3- Since we're talking bunkers rep bunkers work the same way too. If you make them inside base but close enough to the exit most unit standing within range will get repaired. Considering PE kept going back to his base entrance to fix his stuff that would've came in handy.

Also during late mid-game I would've loved to see one or 2 PG squad sneak up behind brit's HQ and destroy the 25p. I saw a few squads from PE with schrecks so that would've been that...

Other than that I dont have much to say.. wait actually one more thing. Its about both teams.

When the v1 was called 30min mark, first why didn't AL bother moving all their arty ? It was all ( 1 cali , 1 25p and maybe 1 priest if lucky ) close enough to get caught up.. everytime I hear a v1 I freak out for my cali/arty and move them somewhere else.

Also since wehr was the one mainly fighting vs. arty MOST of the game why not sneak up a sniper and v1 brit's priests? They were blobbed up.. that would've done you a lot of good.

Also PE , why not sneak up a panther from behind to do some damage to the priests? They were close enough that if you had went around and drove over the bush to get to it you could've definitively finished at least 1 priest off and make it out alive. because at 27min mark all or most of their ATs were really advanced up and it would've taken them some time to draw back.

So yea , other than that not much to say about how they could have played differently. Wubbed
