Fuck I played good! T2 was a little late, and I let him steal my nebel, like a noob, but otherwise, I'm pleased with myself smile.gif. They say this map/position is WM favoured, but I rarely win here as Wehr tbh. In my experience it's pretty balanced unless Wehr goes def doc and spams FTFL, then you can never get the middle munitions point back. I guess things snowballed my way, but I think I won mainly with dope MG play and Officer G.

Someone please tell me why my V1s always miss the howitzer... For most people its the go to counter, but I have about a 10% success rate. Seriously. post-13661-1143531603.gif I've tried aiming dead on, or nearby. I don't understand....

I've heard people say before that they build their howlitzer behind their T3 as it sometimes protects against V1. Your V1 killed barracks and supply yard, maybe there was some base building protection from the blast?

Nice game here, you were a step ahead of him the entire game. MG/bike open dominated him from the start. By 20 minutes when you finally dropped KK center and added shrek to your gren, you already had everything you needed to hard counter anything he could possibly do.

I did think you got off track a bit towards the end when you re-made sniper and teched T4. This didn't matter because you had the game in hand, but I would rather see this spend go into more pumas which you already vetted to 3. If you're gonna vet pumas to 3, might as well pump them out. IMO more vet 3 pumas + munition OP for firestorms would have given you a stronger army than adding a countersniper and eventual unvetted KCH.

also on 18th minute you destroyed all his units, could try push a bit more with pumas and its gg. he had like 2 rifles 1 engi or smthg

Thats the thing, I DID aim it directly on the howie, not the ATG. Sometimes it seems to be as pwnstick describes: It hits a building that's in the way, but other times, like this, it lands nowhere near the target. Is it supposed to land exactly where you've aimed it? I wonder If its somehow lag related? My internet connection isn't the best, but I don't have this problem with any other off map ability. It's consistent, too. I'm not exaggerating when I say 1 in 10 of my V1s hit the howie.

Thanks for the tips! You're probably right, but my choices are often stylistic. For example, I prefer not to play an early sniper, even though as a US player that seems to be the strongest opening... two snipers, even, but its not so fun to play against, so I'd rather not do it myself. The only reason I built the first one here was because my manpower floating was getting out of hand! Rebuilding him later was unnecessary, I agree, but his sniper was the only unit giving me any grief, hence the counter-sniper and KCH. Could have just been more Pumas, but ideally I'd always prefer to tech to T4 than stay in T3 and spam.

Thanks! I didn't realise how close to death he was! I'm often a bit timid when I'm winning, always afraid of mines and units that aren't there!
