Opponent played Eldar with the full early game meta build pretty much: - Macha with the Second Chance ability - Scorpions with the Banshee buff - Jain Zar with the stealth Banshees - Dire Avenger shield - Dire Avenger grenade buff - Banshee scream buff
I played Orks with a more balanced setup: - Stormboyz with the Suicide Bommas for the Trukk (probably my favorite doctrine) - Gorgutz with Keep Trukkin - Gorkanaut with the standard ability, was not yet leveled - auto grenades for shootas - traktor beam pull for the trukk - one of the Nob doctrines, don't quite remember, shield on taunt I think?
Game was fairly close, I managed to hold the early game against the predictable Scorpion push and it was pretty much back and forth until the eldar managed a huge push that I barely stopped with the base recall.
Then with the Gorkanaut out I could pretty much run over the Eldar early game Elite, until the sneaky bastards pull out a win.
Not exactly high level play (I suck at multitasking so in the lategame I am usually a bit overwhelmed) and I certainly have to work on my execution / unit management a lot. Still, best 1v1 I had so far, so I hope you enjoy it.
