Wow. I think this kind of shows it that the 4 RS start is indeed OP (or better, ACUs in midgame / overcharge).
I meeb Beelzebub is a hell of a strong player, just look how hard he fought.
Research stations should also be EXTREMELY fragile (~2500 HP and regen no more than 10hp/s), and cost maybe 450 Ma - with a cost reduction through research. As they are now, they are perfect walls to put your PD behind.
It doesn't help that the cybran player was sitting in his base instead of attacking in early game, but I have to admit that this is kinda the hardest map when it comes to defending a 4RS rush. But since upgraded units own I wouldn't say that ACU teching is OP, you just have to send your units in two waves and not all together, so that the enemy can't OC your second wave. Avoiding enemy ACU and instead attacking the base can also be very effective. Like in FA scouting is the key to win vs all or nothing strategies. Since scouting is far more costly than it was in FA, most players don't scout anymore which makes these strategies stronger in Supom2.
but at any rate ive already watched the replay and saw where i messed up. thier was a point near the start where i decieded to attack your base instead of chasing down your com. i didnt think about you making PD in your base and from thier on it was gg. com rushes are brutal in taht 1 mistake can cost you a game, but thier still counterable. honestly this was the first time anyones com rushed me. i thought about asking some clanmates to do it to me so i can get some practice but this was good enough.
I don't really care how low you are as a person or how little brainpower you have, to come up with a decent plan that doesn't involve this.. Pulling an ACU rush is always a prick move in my book, no matter who you are..
I like how you posted a thread on gpg tho, acting like you "didn't know" that this strategy was OP xD
