Westfold
This is one of the hardest maps when playing against Forces of Darkness, and also quite difficult when playing vs. Rohan. Nevertheless, this map is quite balanced and winnable when using the correct strategies.
Against Forces of Light
Against Gondor 
Onhost:Starting building: Blacksmith
In this match-up you can either creep the top right Goblins with your hobbit and the Soldier battalion that takes the middle Farm or rush his Farms. Start off by spreading your Soldiers and take your Farms as shown and then go rush or creeping, followed by fast horses.
Offhost:Starting building: Blacksmith
When starting offhost you should creep the bottom left Goblins because you can't compete with his host hobbit anyway, but earn some Power Points. Take the Farms as shown and get horses as soon as possible.
Against Rohan 
Onhost:Starting building: Blacksmith
This match-up is quite hard to play. Creeping could be effective, but it is not the best start. The most important thing for this map is to hold as many Farms as you can. Play defensively and do not use heal too early, but rightly timed for your Soldiers. The same pathways as vs. Gondor, just more defensive.
Offhost:Starting building: Blacksmith
Spread your Soldiers and take your Farms as shown. The Soldier battalion that runs to his bottom Farms has to try to catch some of his Peasants while your hobbit will defend your middle Farm after taking the Farms below your base. Your Soldier battalion at top needs to be on the lookout for Peasants and kill them as soon as possible. Early horses on this map has to be used for killing his residual peasants.
Against Forces of Darkness
Against Isengard 
Onhost:Starting building: Barracks
This strategy is a very unusual one. Start with a Barracks for an additional Soldier battalion and send both of your starting Soldiers directly through middle to his top Mills (take the middle Farm of course) and send your hobbit to take the Farm above your base and the two Farms below your base. If he sends his Uruks directly through bottom you will not be able to take the Farms, so fight the Uruks. In the meantime your Soldier from the Barracks should be out - send it to his bottom middle Mill but do not let them get caught by the cave troll. With this strategy you can hurt Isengard's economy enourmously.
Offhost:Starting building: Barracks
This match-up is one of the hardest ones for Gondor. Try to do as much damage as you can with your Soldiers and your Hobbit. Take your back Farms with your Hobbit, rush his bottom Mills with your Soldiers and rush his top Mills with your Soldier from the barracks.
Against Mordor 
Onhost:Starting building: Barracks
Same pathways as vs. Isengard here. Hurt Mordor's economy as good as you can and do not lose your Soldiers to the troll.
Offhost:Starting building: Barracks
The same pathways as onhost, just turned around and adjusted to the offhost spot. You should be able to take at least two Mills down or some workers.
