Morphed from the tiny Zergling, the Baneling is similar to the Infested Terran in Starcraft, they are suicide units which deal area of effect damage. This makes them especially useful for masses of infantry, such as Zealots, Zerglings, or even buildings. They are, on the other hand, very fragile, as they do not gain any extra hit points when morphing from Zerglings. It is also interesting to note that they cost a full control point instead of the regular 0.5 of the Zergling. Be prepared to have surplus control when going for these bouncing balls of destruction.
