Because smoke isn't behaving as designed. Smoke is meant to by buy the sherman time, either for reinforcements to arrive or for it to escape. It's meant to make the sherman as inaccurate as the opponents firing at it. The sherman retians full accuracy in smoke however, thus smoke is bugged.
Thats exactly why i got the smoke, to buy time. Its not like the sherman hitting the tigers' front armor was doing anything anyhow. But thats besides the point, i feel it would be unfair for me not to use the smoke to "buy time" just because relic made a mistake and the sherman has a little better accuracy than it normally would.

upload it at fastshare.org or rapidshare.com and include a link into your shoutcast posting.... i think its because of non-shoutcast mods can only upload around 12MB

I was responding more to thechemicals than I was to your use of smoke in the game ny. I don't have any problem with an allied player using smoke to buy time, but I've seen games where the smoke was incessant, making the shermans nigh on invulnerable, and still deadly to boot.
