Round of 16

-ZoRRo Vs Survivorman^ : 2 - 0

-ZoRRo established himself as a quite good player recently, having won a ladder wars and playing well against strong players and experts. He won this fixture relatively easily with a 2-0 score.

Maze. Vs Sir_Henry : 2 - 0

Maze, a Tiberium Wars expert, had no real problems dealing with a mid-player (formerly known as denesi), beating him in 2 straight games.

Agr3ssivepanda Vs ~AngelOfDeath~ : 0 - 2

Agr3ssivepanda, who did an excellent job covering the event on his stream and a decent Kane's Wrath player, was beaten by a well known Tiberium Wars player, 2 games to 0.

Sh0ckTr34tment Vs MimiickTV : 2 - 0

Tiberium Wars legend, Mr. Sh0ckTr34tment had little to no problem beating our newcomer by 2 games to 0.

shoktrepet Vs Unknown_999 : 2 - 0

shoktrepet has always got ambitions of winning any tournament he enters. He wins by a 2-0 scoreline.

MrWhitey998 Vs Gu3r1lL4 : 2 - 0

JakeWhite, a strong Kane's Wrath player, was undefeated against an out of form opponent.

Aoenian. Vs AdamLallana : 2 - 1

This was one of the most competitive matches of the Round of 16. AdamLallana could not counter Aoenian's Stormriders, followed by an army of upgraded tripods, but recovered in a game two with the help of the one clicks.

Unfortunately, in the decisive game, Adam's anc/engi did not do the damage it needed and swung the game in Aoenian's favor.

Aoenian. took a spot in the next round 2 games to 1.

bike-RUsh+ownz+ Vs Good_Day_To_Die : 1 - 2

This was the biggest match of the round, an epic clash between a Tiberium Wars legend and an extremely strong player.

BikeRush, arguably the best player ever to play Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath was coming from relative inactivity and faced a late sign up, Good_Day_To_Die in a first round.

The first round saw a GDI mirror, where Bike tried to fast tech and use firehawks to his advantage. However, Good_Day's early-game pressure was enough to put him in the driving seat. Game 1 goes to Good_Day.

The second game's result was inevitable. On Small Town USA and against BikeRush's Nod it is almost impossible to win. Game 2 goes in favour of BikeRush.

Third game on Tournament Arena with a GDI mirror. BikeRush's crane/inf only idea was punished by Good Day's APC/Predator steamroll. BikeRush surrenders.

Good_Day_To_Die takes this series 2 games to 1.

Quarter Finals

Good_Day_To_Die Vs MrWhitey998 : 2 - 0

Good_Day_To_Die continued his good run of form and topped MrWhitey in two solid games.

Aoenian. Vs shoktrepet

We thought that it would be extremely close, both players being able to handle almost an expert level of gameplay, but shoktrepet could not deal with skillful and creative action of Aoenian.

Aoenian. goes into semis with a 2-0 victory.

Sh0ckTr34tment Vs ~AngelOfDeath~ : 2 - 0

Nobody expected ~AngelOfDeath~ to defeat an expert and, despite his best efforts, it was Sh0cktr34tm3nt who advanced.

Sh0ckTr34tment goes into the semis undefeated.

Maze. Vs -ZoRRo : 2 - 0

It's extremely difficult to play against an expert. Even if you got an upper hand in some games.

Maze. wins with a dominating performance.

Semi Finals

Sh0ckTr34tment Vs Maze. : 3 - 1

It's never boring when those 2 titans collide. After exchanging a pair of victories, the series saw one of the most epic Tiberium Wars games for quite some time.

First game was Scrin vs Nod on Dustbowl - Shock went in the most popular tactic on that map - specifically a forward expansion with a surveyor. His opponent wanted to play a "safe" strategy with no shadow teams and an aggressive MCV move. Was it worth it? Most likely no, because Shock destroyed him pretty fast.

Second game - Nod mirror on Pipeline Problems. Shock went for a Shadow rush, Maze saw it and stopped them with minimal losses (just a crane). Shock followed up with Bikes, but Maze had a lot of Scorpions. It was a good fight which Maze won.

Third game - Nod Mirror on Tournament Tower. There is much I can say about this game. It was really long and intense between two of the best players of this game. You should just watch the replay and see how good this game is

Fourth game - GDI vs Nod on Rift - another long game, but not as long as previous one. Shock went for one of the best builds for GDI here - specifically APC/Engis to the spikes and one to Maze's base. The game was very close, but Shock didn't let Maze win. Regardless of the result, both players played very well.

The mighty Sh0ckTr34tment goes into finals with 3-1 victory.

Good_Day_To_Die Vs Aoenian. : 1 - 3

Should someone be considered as the favourite in the semifinals if they won against BikeRush two rounds earlier?

Well for most of the public, yes.

But beating one of the game's best can also take the best out from you. Good_Day could not break Aoenian's momentum.

First game was GDI vs Nod on Tournament Dustbowl, which Good_Day lost.

Second game - Nod vs Scrin on Arena - this time Good_Day performs more to his level in pretty decent game.

Third game - Nod Mirror on Tournament Rift - Aoenian wins almost too fast with the clock not even reaching 5 minutes.

Fourth - GDI vs Scrin on Tower - Scrin has a lot of trouble on this map against GDI, this time it was different. Aoenian wins the Semi Finals against Good_Day_to_Die.

Bronze Medal Play-Off

Good_Day_To_Die Vs Maze. 2 - 3

Good_Day_To_Die was visibly tired in his games for 3rd place, but he somehow managed to reverse the 2-0 lead to make it a tie.

Unfortunately it wasn't enough to win, but it meant that he lost with a respectable 2-3 scoreline.

First game between Good_Day and Maze was played on Tournament Tower - Nod vs Scrin, Maze won this round.

Second game - Tournament Arena - Scrin vs Nod - as in the previous game, winner of this round was Maze. This time Good_Day had more chances to win and the game was pretty long but still Maze showed a higher level of skill.

Third game - Small Town USA - Scrin vs Nod - a lot of people say that Nod is unbeatable on this map - Good_Day showed that only skill is able to win. Good_Day wins his first game against Maze of the tournament.

Fourth game - Scrin Mirror on Pipeline Problems - Good_Day had a big chance to win at the start - he went for a fast rush, which worked well. Then it was a close game between the two players with Good_Day claiming victory and tying up the series.

Fifth game - GDI vs Nod on Tournament Rift - it was the last game in the bronze medal play off, Maze needed to win this game to take third and that's what happened.

Congratulations to Maze. For taking the third place!

Finals!

Sh0ckTr34tm3nt Vs AoeNiaN. : 4 - 2

Early on nobody knew who would be able to win this tournament - both players had an equally good chance.

The first game saw GDI vs Scrin on Tournament Tower, it is one of Shock's favourite maps so there was no surprise when he eventually went on to win this game.

For the second game, it was Scrin vs GDI on Small Town USA and this time the winner was AoeNian.

Next up we had the third game which was GDI vs Nod on Tournament Dustbowl. It was a very long and close game, making it difficult to know who would come out on top, but finally Shock managed to take it to earn a 2-1 lead.

Following that, we had the fourth game was Scrin vs Nod on Rift. In comparison to the previous few games, this one was relatively short with the Aoenian being the winner.

After that we had the fifth game which was Nod vs Scrin on Barstow Badlands. This game was longer and better in quality compared to the previous games with Shock winning this match.

Final game. Scrin vs GDI on Arena. This game decided who would win this tournament. Shock finally emerged victorious.

Sh0ckTr34tment Won the event by a score of 4-2. Congratulations to Sh0ckTr34tment and Aoenian for taking the first and second place respectively!

Once again GameReplays.Org would like to say thank you to everyone in the community who showed up to play and/or spectate in this event. In addition to that, our utmost thanks to those who live-streamed this tournament so that those that missed out could enjoy!

As always, we have more events planned in store for both Tiberium Wars and Kane's Wrath so we do hope to see you soon. Until next time Commanders!
