AoAReplays.com is proud to announce Act of Dominance #4 ! This tournament is about to start Monday, December 21th. It will be a Swiss system tournament that will run over several weeks with a timing schedule of one round per week.
Swiss system tournament, what is this you might ask? It is quite simple, players are matched against each other based on their current score, so you always face a player of the same skill as yours. There is a predetermined number of rounds and players never face the same opponent twice. Basically it comes down to more fairer matches and more enjoyment for everyone that participates!
More information about the Swiss tournament system can be found here or here . If you would like to join the tournament, check out the details and sign-up information below!

Play your Matches This is a tournament with flexible playing times, chosen by the participants themselves. The whole week can be used to complete all of the matches, the participants are free to split the rounds up or play them in a row. To find a date that fits your schedule you will have to contact your opponent first! For this purpose you can use this site or steam. You can always check who your opponent is by visiting the brackets.
If players are unable to find a date that fits them or are unable to contact their opponents, each round will have a fixed date. The fixed date is set to each Sunday @ 16:00 GMT. If a participant haven't played his matches yet and doesn't show up on the fixed date, the result will be a 'no-show', counting 0 points for the no-show player and 1 point for his/her opponent. If both players haven't played their matches and don't show up on the fixed date, both will receive 0 points.
Result Reporting and Replays After you have played your opponent, it is the responsibility of the winning team to report the victory to a referee and to post the result and a link to the replay(s) in the specified results thread. Note that you must upload the replay to the replay system yourself this time! Please use this format: AoD#4 Player A vs Player B. Players may not proceed to play their next round until the replays (both defeats and victories) from the previous rounds have been uploaded to AoAReplays.com.
Crashing and smurfing Whenever you or your opponent crashes within 10 minutes of the game, there will be a rematch. If the game crashes after 10 minutes, the player that crashed will automatically lose that match (unless agreed upon by both players that a rematch is necessary).
Smurfing (using a different account/name other then you regular name) is not allowed. If you have to use a different account or name for whatever reason, make sure to share your publicly known name. Not doing so will result in a ban for the rest of the tournament and the next tournament.
