Relic has unveiled a new game mode for the upcoming expansion
Company of Heroes: Tales of Valor! Titled ‘Operation Stonewall’, this new game mode provides something completely different from what we have seen in
Company of Heroes to date.
To quote Relic on this new game mode,
“Operation Stonewall is one of the new multiplayer modes for Tales of Valor. It throws up to four players into a scenario where they defend a town against an all out attack by an overwhelming AI opponent. You’ll have to use everything at your disposal to try and hold out.”This could be an interesting twist to the usual Annihilate or Victory Point games by adding new strategic content to the game. The new game mode seems strongly influenced by the
Company of Heroes mod,
Joint Operations, which is similar in game type and has been available for the community for quite a while.
