The first in a long line of Gamereplays.org Company of Heroes Tournaments began yesterday on the 3rd of May 2008, 32 teams signed up for potentially the most competitive 2v2 tournament in CoH to date. Soon the remaining teams in the final 8 will play against eachother and after there will be only one team left that shall be crowned the Winners and recieve $200. Read on to find out how the night went and watch any replay from all games that have been played.
At 7PM GMT most teams were already ingame and playing, the first result came through when Crazy Animals beat crom's balls and most Round 1 games were being finished soon after. Only 4 matches out of the 16 were not played and 100% of competitors were there for round 2 games. Most top seeded teams went through the first round with relative ease and these were the matchups and their replays linked:

Most of the top seeded teams went through in round 1 and newcomers Dragoon/Sekiselu making a late entry as EPIC2 made it safely through to Round 2 of the tournament. In the next round they would go up against Yobobltad (Fresheg/Kabusha) while EPIC would face Crazy Animals (DrHorse/sweix) and Arx1 would face Cl0ak & Dagg3r while Arx2 would be playing against Ruffians. These were just a few competitive games that would take place in round 2 of the tournament and award a spot in the Final 8.

[1] [2]Unfortunately Yobo had to forfeit since a player had connection problems putting EPIC2 through, Arx2 easilly took victory over Ruffians, Reborn1 with Marinez and NihilisticGod is through to face Tamiya and ntd in Arx2. Nide & Neubine in arx 1 went through to play EPIC2 and lost last night making EPIC2 the first semi-finalists. TRU Gaming will take on GAR Bulldogs and Nuvion/CommanderKickass will play against the Crazy Animals. Finally 8 teams are left over and make up the quarter finals of the tournament:
